I want to start by thanking you all for your kind and loving support as I attempt to stage this campaign to Washington D.C. It has been a challenging few months and I feel very strong and optimistic about the direction my life has been taking. My struggle is nothing compared to what millions of people go through everyday in the struggle for safety, sanity and survival.
That being said, I do encounter (particularly today) stupid little set backs like not having the correct cables for devices, or having a crashed hard drive, flat tires, my phone being hacked or running out of minutes, not being able to print literature and pamphlets because I am out of toner, and most recently, not being able to calibrate my dvd player to the video projector because of software issues.
These things impede my march in small, frustrating ways, and I need to entreat you to help me by going to my weebly site and donating however much you can to my paypal, even if it is just 5 dollars, it may be the 5 bucks that gets me the cable I need, or to print the last 2 pages of a booklet.
Also, I have run into some hitches with my food stamps, as I had to do a couple Intercounty Transfers of benefits due to going from SF to SD and back. What this means is that many times I am missing an appointment because I am on the road, or I have simply spent more than I should have feeding some pod of veterans I discovered living under a bridge.
I desperately need money to reproduce art and literature.
The film, Battlefield of the Mind, in which I have a major role, despite being a fantastic film and searing indictment of the establishments' manner of dealing with homeless veterans, is not the "cash cow" I thought it may have been. (theres still time, though!)
The movie is an independent release currently being "shopped" to the festival circuit, and getting some good bites and great reviews.
Bottom line, is nobody gets paid too soon for a labor of love such as Fran and I have devoted ourselves to.
Please, please, please, at least check out my web site and consider donating whatever you can, even a couple bucks.
Obligations come down the pike pretty fast, and I am going to San Luis Obispo this weekend to show the film at the Stand Down....my tech situation is all messed up, I need a bike lock, new boots, and the right cables for my devices, as well as food.
I know times are hard, but many people pitching a little is a huge help. This is how we help eachother out here, everybody pitching in just a little bit to benefit all.
"From each according to abilty, to each according to need".

Thank you guys, so much for taking the time to read my little desperate plea....
