Where were you during the Nov. 20, 2011 Raid on OSF? As we approach the 1 year mark of the SFPD raid on OSF at 101 Nov. 20th 2011, I have located a clip I recorded while I was pinned down with some of my OSF friends at the Subway near Bradley Manning Plaza. The 20th is my birthday and I remember it well, Pirate Mike and all of the occupants at 101 that night were arrested, their belongings stolen and disposed of. I tried to LIVE stream the raid but my wifi devices would not function at that time, so I recorded it to the hard drive on my PC. #J1L #OSFTV OccupyLiberty on Livestream is one of the production channels I used last year and intend to use again in the future. Occupy Contra Costa #OccupyCCC WE ARE UNSTOPPABLE ANOTHER WORLD IS POSSIBLE CALLING ALL OCCUPIERS FROM CONTRA COSTA COUNTY Let’s discuss strategies to strengthen ties, organize and mobilize SUNDAY NOV. 11TH @ 1PM Hillcrest Park On Olivera & Grant Street in Concord Near highway 4 and 242 intersect Approximately equidistant from the west, east and south CCC Do you Occupy in CCC or want to? Last fall many Occupies popped up in CCC including Richmond, Concord, Antioch, Martinez and more. Now it seems the only one still active is Richmond. Being that we are much smaller than the large cities we have unique challenges in organizing. As a way to meet these challenges all Occupiers and Organizers from the area are being called together to discuss solutions. Stand Together or Fall Apart Organizing takes people, resources and time. For one small Occupy holding an event or organizing an action can be exhausting. We can start working together as a county as well as in our respective cities and communities. The end goal would be to organize a “mutual aid” network where we can help each other organize and execute direct actions. By working together and strengthening our network we can mobilize larger numbers of people. If you’re interested feel free to bring food and we can make it a potluck!
